It seems as though I have been a ‘coach’ for most of my adult life.  People are naturally drawn to me for guidance and advice and I am usually more interested in challenging their status quo!  After all, coaches aren’t paid to tell you the answers, they are paid to ask you great questions. This is where the talent of a great coach lies.

What I love about coaching is the challenge of finding  just the right questions that unlocks the answer from within my client. There is nothing more satisfying than the moment I hear complete silence after a question has been asked followed by some type of groan or ‘OHhh’ – which is often referred to as an ‘A-ha’ moment.  Then, and only then do I know that a realisation has occurred and my client has reached another milestone on their journey.  That feeling is better than a glass of Veuve Clicquot and that says a lot!
